TRANSAXLE WIRING HARNESS

Removal & Installation (01V Transaxle)

1. Remove valve body. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (01V TRANSAXLE) under VALVE

BODY ASSEMBLY. Using a small screwdriver, pry out retaining tabs on solenoid valve connectors, and
pull off connectors (A) one at a time. See Fig. 49 . Disengage wiring harness from retainers (B) on side of
valve body. Turn valve body over, and unplug connector from transaxle RPM sensor (1). Remove first
retaining clip (A) and unclip harness from second retaining clip (B). Pull connector (3) off solenoid valve
(pressure control solenoid on E18 valve body). See Fig. 46 .

2. To install, reverse removal procedure. When installing wiring harness, plug the connectors onto the

respective solenoid valves. Clip the wiring harness into the retaining clips. If not installed correctly,
wiring harness can be trapped when the valve body is installed. Install valve body. Fill with ATF and
check ATF level. See CHECKING FLUID LEVELS under LUBRICATION.
