Removing 

z

Remove ribbed belt. See RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .  

z

Remove toothed belt. See TOOTHED BELTS, REMOVING, INSTALLING, TENSIONING .  

z

Remove crankshaft toothed belt sprocket by counter-holding sprocket using 3415.

To guide seal extractor, hand screw center bolt into crankshaft onto stop.  

z

Unscrew inner part of oil seal extractor 3203 two turns (approx. 3 mm) out of outer part and lock with 
knurled screw.  

z

Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor, place it in position and while exerting firm pressure, screw it 
in as far as possible into the oil seal.

Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against crankshaft until the oil seal is pulled out.  

Installing 

z

Lightly oil sealing lip of oil seal.  

z

Install guide sleeve from 2080 A onto crankshaft journal.

Slide oil seal over guide sleeve.  

z

Press in sealing ring with press sleeve from 3265 up to the stop using center bolt -1-
