PARALLEL RUNNING, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING

z

Raise rear spoiler manually. See REAR SPOILER, MANUALLY RAISING AND LOWERING .

Checking

Left and right-hand side channel guides -1- must be in same position (parallel). When rear spoiler is raised
dimension -a- on both channel guides -1- must be same.

NOTE:

A malfunctioning rear spoiler or a build-up of stress in the mechanics of rear
spoiler may occur if parallel running is not set correctly. When operating rear
spoiler manually rear spoiler may not stop in a raised or lowered position but
may raise and lower continuously. Cause of non parallel running is wear in
cables in area of rear spoiler drive unit or worn drive gear wheel.

NOTE:

Fig. 34 shows guide channel on left-hand side.
