(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the shoulder anchor cover
cap.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(b) Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt shoulder an-
chor.
(c)
Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt floor anchor.

(d) Using a screwdriver, remove the center pillar upper gar-
nish RH.

(e) Employ the same manner described above to the other
side.

bly.

35. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSY
w/ Sliding Roof
(a) Align the markings, and then install the wire harness with
tape.

HINT:
Be careful for dirt or foreign objects not to stick to the adhered
part when peeling off the double-stick tape.
(b) Attach the roof wire harness across the adhered part.
NOTICE:
Roof wire harness should be attached securely.

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 8 retainers and 9 clips.
(b) Using a moulding remover, remove the mudguard.

trol cable assy.

drive cable assy.

Torque: 6.0 Nm (60 kgfcm, 52 in.lbf)

adjust the play to the standard value.

The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order.

HINT:
Work in a well-lighted area. Turn the front wheels fully to the
right or left before begining.
(a) Check all the brake lines and hoses for:

(b) Check all the clamps for tightness and the connections for
leakage.

Check that the hoses and lines are not near sharp edges,
