22. Remove the camshaft synchronizer. For additional information, refer to CAMSHAFT 

POSITION SENSOR .  

23. Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt.

24. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft damper.

25. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft front seal. Discard the seal.

CAUTION: The cap screw is hidden. Make sure to remove it or the 

front cover will be damaged.
