Removing

Obtain radio code on vehicles with coded radio.  

z

Disconnect battery.  

z

Disconnect wheel speed sensor and speed sensor wiring connector.  

z

Remove rear interior side panel. 

See SIDE PANEL TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 

z

Strip insulation (arrow) from shrink connection.

Cut wheel speed sensor wire in front of spliced connection with stripping pliers from wiring repair kit 
VAS 1978 and remove faulty wiring.
