Release circlip -1- from pin -2-.

Release spring -3- from backrest -4- with a screwdriver.

Pull pin -2- out of backrest -4-, when doing this hold spring -3- with a pair of pliers and pull out.

Release button housing -1- -arrow- and take off rear panel -3-.

Dismantle release rods -2- and clips -4- from rear panel -3-. 

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal. 

z

Pin -2-, spring -3- and locking hooks -5- must be inserted together. 

NOTE:

The clips -4- can be disassembled from the rear panel, when the spreader 
pin is pushed out of the clip. (Remove spreader pin from rear panel ready 
for reinstallation).

Engage circlip -1- in pin -2-.

Tension spring -3-.  

z

Perform a functional check after assembling is completed, adjust locking hooks if necessary.  

Adjusting locking hooks 

z

If part of original equipment, loosen nut -3- and press connecting rod ball joint -1- off locking hooks -2- -
arrow- with a screwdriver  

z

Turn ball joint -1- on connecting rod so that the effective length of the connecting rod is increased or 
decreased as applicable.
