DISCHARGE (HID) LAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Remove sealing cap. See HEADLIGHTS WITH HIGH INTENSITY GAS DISCHARGE (HID) 
LAMP, REPLACING BULBS .  

z

Remove screws -arrows- on motor.

Pull positioning rod ball head out from locking device on reflector.  

z

Disconnect electrical connection.  

Installing 

Installation in reverse sequence or removal.

Check headlight function.  

z

Perform headlight basic setting (function 04) using On Board Diagnostic program, See ON BOARD 
DIAGNOSTIC (OBD), FUNCTION .

FRONT TURN SIGNAL AND SIDE MARKER LIGHTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 

Removing

Remove screw cover.

CAUTION:

z

Switch off all electrical consumers.  

z

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Remove securing screw.  

z

Pull turn signal out forwards.  

z

Disconnect electrical connector.  

Installing 

z

Connect electrical connector.  

z

Slide turn signal into fender opening.

FRONT TURN SIGNAL AND SIDE MARKER LIGHT BULB, REPLACING 

Removing

Remove turn signal lights and side marker lights. See FRONT TURN SIGNAL AND SIDE MARKER 
LIGHTS .  

z

Turn bulb holder in direction shown -arrow- and pull out from housing.  

z

Remove bulb from holder.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.  

z

When installing, make sure bulb holder engages in housing by turning in opposite direction to direction 
shown -arrow-.

ONLY) 

FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 

Removing 

z

Bring lock carrier into service position 

See LOCK CARRIER, MOVING TO SERVICE POSITION .

CAUTION: Do not touch the glass portion of the bulb with bare hands. The moisture 

and/or grease from fingers that evaporates on the bulb during operation, 
can cause the glass to cloud over.
