Activate Cruise Control System. See CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM, ACTIVATING AND 
DEACTIVATING .  

Vehicles with automatic transmission only 

z

Take a test drive where vehicle reaches at least 30 km/h (approx. 19 mph) one time.  

z

Switch OFF engine and leave selector lever in position 2, 3 or D.  

z

Apply hand brake.  

NOTE:

z

For vehicles with automatic transmissions; cruise control switch Voltage 
supply first becomes available when the vehicle exceeds a speed of 30 
km/h (approx. 19 mph) with the Range selector lever in position 2, 3 or D.

other than 1 or R is selected.
