HEATED SEAT SWITCH

Description

• Power is supplied to each heater.
• Temperature of seat can be adjusted by operating on heated seat switch.

CHECK HEATED SEAT SWITCH FUNCTION

1.

Turn ignition switch ON.

2.

Check heated seat operation with heated seat switch.

Is the inspection results normal?

YES

>> Power seat switch is OK.

NO

>> Refer to 

SE-6, "Diagnosis Procedure"

.

Diagnosis Procedure

1.

CHECK HEATED SEAT SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect heated seat switch and heated seat connector.

3.

Check continuity between heated seat switch and heated seat connector.

4.

Check continuity between heated seat switch and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Repair or replace circuit.

CHECK HEATED SEAT SWITCH

Check heated seat switch.
Refer to 

SE-6, "Component Inspection"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Refer to 

GI-39, "Intermittent Incident"

.

>> Heated seat switch. Refer to 

SE-35, "Removal and Installation"

CHECK SEAT HEATER GROUND CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect heated seat connector.

3.

Check continuity between heated seat connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Repair or replace circuit.

2.

CHECK SEAT HEATER UNIT

Check seat heater unit.
Refer to 

SE-8, "Component Inspection"

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Refer to 

GI-39, "Intermittent Incident"

>> Replace seat heater unit. Refer to 

SE-25, "Disassembly and Assembly"
