6-14 COOLING AND LUBRICATION SYSTEM
• To press-fit the mechanical seal into the water pump, use a
pipe shape material of an appropriate size.

NOTE:
The new mechanical seal is applied with a sealing agent at the
factory.
• Install the impeller and water pump shaft

• Install the E-ring.
• Install the water pump cover to the water pump with the
O-ring

fitted and grease coated.

99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (USA)
• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE to the O-rings

install the water pump case on the engine.

• Install the water pump with the flats on the pump shaft end

securely engaged with the slot

on the oil pump shaft.
Replace the mechanical seal with a new one.
