Transmission, Transporting

Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Engine Sling - 2024A-
♦ Transmission Support Jig - 3336-
♦ Shop Crane - VAS6100-
Always secure heaving parts when transporting them.
Remember there is oil in the transmission. Do not turn the trans‐

mission with the vents facing downward when transporting or

when it is on the assembly stand. The oil will leak out.

Note

Remove the bleed cap if necessary and use oil-tight plugs.

Transmission, Transporting
– Install the Engine Sling - 2024A- on the transmission and se‐

cure with the clamp.

The transmission can also be lifted using the Transmission Sup‐

port Jig - 3336- .

❑ The length of the overflow pipe determines the fluid level inside the transmission
❑ Allocate according to the Parts Catalog.

30 - Seal

31 - Transmission Fluid Drain- and Check Plug

❑ There is an overflow pipe with a 8 mm inner hex behind this bolt -item 29-
