Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal. 

z

Push locking device -1- into bracket onto limit stop and adjust cut-out -arrow- to correct position.  

z

Press clip -2- on securely

REMOVING AND INSTALLING LUMBAR SUPPORT FRAME FROM 05.03 ON 

Removing 

z

Remove seat. See FRONT SEATS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .  

z

Remove backrest. See FRONT SEAT BACKREST, ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .

Remove backrest cover.  

z

Remove backrest padding.

Remove bolts -2- and remove adjustment device -3- from the seat backrest -1-.  

z

Drill out pop rivet -4-.  

z

Unclip lumbar support frame -5- from the seat backrest -arrows-.  

Installing 

Install in reverse order. 

REMOVING AND INSTALLING BACKREST RELEASE OPERATING DEVICE CABLE FROM 
05.03 ON 

Removing 

z

Remove seat. See FRONT SEATS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .  

z

Remove backrest. See FRONT SEAT BACKREST, ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .  

z

Remove backrest cover.  

z

Remove backrest padding.  

z

Loosen cable -5-.

Unhook cable hook -4- and remove cable -2- from guide -3-.  

z

Rotate the cable ball joint -7- 90° and remove from release lever -8-.  

z

Unclip clip -6- and remove cable -2- from backrest frame -1-.  

Installing 

Install in reverse order. 

REAR SEATS 

REAR SEAT BENCH (ONE PIECE), REMOVING AND INSTALLING 

Removing 

z

Lift seat bench and pull forward.  

z

Press rods -2- out of retainers -3-.

Installing

Guide rods -2- into retainers -3-, fold seat bench -1- downward to rear and push front edge downward.  

BACKREST (ONE PIECE), REMOVING AND INSTALLING 

Removing 

z

Remove bolts/screws -1- from retaining supports -2- on the center support -3- on back of backrest.

Fold seat bench forward. See REAR SEATS .  

z

Fold backrest down.  

z

Press retaining hooks -1- on left and right-hand sides back with a screwdriver and pull backrest -2-
