To convert Nm to lbf ft:

Divide the Nm torque figure by 1.356

Cylinder head bolts can be used twice, for reference purposes mark for re-use.

Step

Apply each step in sequence shown:

Tighten bolts 1 to 10 to 20 Nm

2

Tighten bolts 1 to 10 to 35 Nm

3

Tighten bolts 1 to 10, 90 degrees

4

Tighten bolts 1 to 10, 90 degrees

5

Tighten bolts marked Y to 23 Nm
