Throttle Safety System

The ECU monitors the position of the throttle lever and
determines if the lever is open or closed by the sensor signal
returned by the throttle safety circuit. The ECU then compares
the returned signal to the signal returned by the Throttle Position
Sensor (TPS). If the ECU determines that the throttle flipper is
closed “released”, but that the TPS is not at idle position, the
ECU will determine that there is a potential problem with the
throttle cable and enter engine-RPM limit / vehicle speed mode

When the throttle lever is closed, the resistance between the
switch’s BRN/W and BLUE wires should be approximately
2150

Ω.

Once the throttle flipped is pushed, the resistance between the
BRN/W and BLUE wires should be approximately 6810

Ω.

Pushing the safety slap switch “down” while the engine is
running will open the ignition relay coil, thus turning off the
ignition system.

Perc 4 Button Circuit

Pushing the Perc 4 button completes the reverse switch signal
circuit. This action enables to the ECU to begin the reverse-
request functions.
