Note

Removal and installation are described only for the right door

window. The removal and installation of the left door window

is similar.

Do not bend the window slot seals when lifting off!

– Lower door window -6- as far as stop.

If this part of the work cannot be done due to a fault in window regulator motor -7-, the latter can be removed

– Remove window slot inner seal

– Lever off cap -5-.

– Screw a 5 mm bolt (approx. 70 mm long) in the spreader pin

-4- and pull bolt out of spreader plug -3-.

– Screw an 8 mm bolt (approx. 80 mm long) into spreader plug

-3-.

Note

When screwing bolt into spreader plug, do not apply excessive pressure on plug. It otherwise falls inwards into

door.

– Pull spreader plug -3- out of window regulator guide and thus

out of door window.

– Lift door window -1- upwards out of window regulator -3-

-arrows a-.

– Pull door window -1- upwards at an angle -arrows b- out of

window slot.

♦

When installing door window, always renew spreader plug -3- and spreader pin -4-.

♦

Before inserting spreader plug -3- and spreader pin -4-, check window -1- for damage.

Carry out following work:
– Insert and centre spreader plug -3- in the middle with the door

window removed -1- .

– Press spreader pin -4- flush into spreader plug -3-.
– Guide door window -1- into door -2- -arrows a- and insert door

window into slot of window regulator guide -5-.

– With light pressure from above -arrows b-, engage window

-1- in window regulator -5-.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
