Carry out following work:
– Insert door window -1- into window channels -2- -arrow a-.
– Insert door window into B-pillar window channel -arrow A- and

push into clamping brackets as far as it will go -arrow B-.

Note

Ensure that door window is properly located in window channel

-arrow A-.

2. Front door window

– Using both hands, push door window downwards -arrow B-.

Note

Ensure that door window is always pushed into B-pillar window

channel -arrow A- for this.

– Check visually that door window is seated correctly in B-pillar

window channel -arrow-.

– Tighten clamping bolt -1- (rear clamping bolt) by turning it anti-

clockwise, specified torque 8 Nm.

Note

Always push door window downwards by hand -arrow- when

tightening

♦

Keep dimension -a- = 12 cm, to B-pillar free when pushing

down.

– Tighten clamping bolt -2- (front clamping bolt) by turning it anti-

clockwise, specified torque 8 Nm.

• Before the cover cap -5-, the cover -2- and the door trim are

installed, carry out a functional test.

Note

The removal and installation sequence is only for the right window

regulator motor. The removal and installation of the left window

regulator motor is similar.

2.4.1

Removing

Carry out following work:
– Removing front door trim ⇒  General body repairs, interior;

Rep. gr.  70 ; Door trim .

– Secure door window against sliding down with adhesive tape.
