CONVERTIBLE TOP FRONT CATCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Removing 

z

Remove roof member cross member trim. 

See ROOF CROSS MEMBER INNER AND OUTER TRIM (CONVETIBLE) REMOVING AND 
INSTALLING . 

z

Disconnect micro switch connection from right side.  

z

Remove bolt/screw -6-.

Installing 

Installation is reverse of removal. 

NOTE:

z

The convertible top can be adjusted within the elongated holes for the 
convertible top catch -5-.  

z

The convertible top must lie centrally on the roof cross member and lie 
evenly at the A-pillars.

CONVERTIBLE TOP REAR CATCH, ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW 

1. Convertible top catch 

z

Removing: 

„

Remove side trim panel. 

See SIDE PANEL TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 

„

Open convertible top or work from the inside of the vehicle with top closed.  

„

Disconnect electrical connection -6-.  

„

Remove bolts/screws -3-.  

z

Installing: 

„

Install bolt/screw -3- and tighten lightly.  

„

Connect electrical connection -6-.  

„

Align module for convertible top catch.  

„

Close convertible top if decided to open it previously.  

„

When convertible top has engaged tighten bolts/screw -3-.  

„

Then perform functional check.
