2. Press selector shaft down (direction of arrow 1). See Fig. 18 . Turn right-angle piece (A) in direction of 

arrow (2), when pressing selector shaft down.

3. Pull gear shift boot off center console (arrow). See Fig. 7 . Pull rubber cover toward gear shift knob, if 

part of original equipment.  

4. Select Neutral with gear lever. Guide pin (T10027) through hole (A) and into hole (B). See Fig. 19 . Turn 

locking mechanism on gear selector cable and gate selector cable to right onto stop (direction of arrow). 
See Fig. 20 . Spring presses locking mechanism into normal position.
