PRACTICAL INFORMATION

In all cases, keep a check on the cool-

ant temperature.

Braking
Towing a trailer increases the braking

distance.

Tyres



Check the tyre pressures of the

towing vehicle and of the trailer,

observing the recommended pres-

sures.

Lighting



Check the electrical lighting and sig-

nalling on the trailer.

The rear parking sensors will be de-

activated automatically if a genuine

PEUGEOT towbar is used.



If the warning lamp and the

warning lamp come

on, stop the vehicle and

switch off the engine as

soon as possible.

The maximum towed load on a long in-

cline depends on the gradient and the

ambient temperature.

Offer up the very cold climate screen

to the front of the lower section of

the front bumper.

Press around its edge to engage its

ﬁ xing clips one by one.

Do not forget to remove the very

cold climate screen:

- when the ambient temperature

exceeds 10 °C,

- when towing,

- at speeds above 75 mph (120 km/h).

terior), topping up (screenwash...) and

recharges (sealant cartridge for the

temporary puncture repair kit) by visit-

ing a PEUGEOT dealer.

The speed of a towing vehicle must not exceed 60 mph (100 km/h) (comply with the legislation in force in your country).
High ambient temperatures may result in a reduction in the performance of the vehicle to protect the engine; when the ambient

IDENTIFICATION MARKINGS

Various visible markings for the identiﬁ -

cation and tracking of your vehicle.

Wheels which are ﬁ tted with 225/40

R18 tyres cannot be ﬁ tted with

snow chains. For further informa-
tion, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

If the inﬂ ation pressures are too low,

this increases fuel consumption.

The inﬂ ation pressures must be

checked when the tyres are cold,
at least once a month.

Vehicle identiﬁ cation number (VIN)

under the bonnet.

This number is engraved on the
bodywork near the damper support.

For access to it, raise the plastic cover.

B. VIN on the windscreen lower cross-

member.

This number is indicated on a self-
adhesive label which is visible
through the windscreen.

C. Manufacturer's label.

This number is indicated on a self-

destroying label afﬁ xed to the door

aperture, below the door striker, on
the right-hand side.

D. Tyre/paint label.

This label is afﬁ xed to the door aper-

ture, on the driver's side.

It bears the following information:
- the tyre inﬂ ation pressures, laden

and unladen,

the wheel rim and tyre sizes,

the brands of tyre recommended by
the manufacturer,

- the inﬂ ation pressure of the spare

wheel,

the paint colour code.

EMERGENCY OR ASSISTANCE CALL

EMERGENCY CALL

In an emergency, press this button for more than
2 seconds. Flashing of the green indicator lamp and a

voice message conﬁ rm that the call has been made to the

PEUGEOT Emergency team * .

Pressing this button again immediately cancels the request. The green
indicator lamp goes off.

ASSISTANCE CALL

If you purchased your vehicle outside the PEUGEOT dealer network,

we invite you to have a dealer check the conﬁ guration of these services

and, if desired, modiﬁ ed to suit your wishes. In a multi-lingual country,

conﬁ guration is possible in the ofﬁ cial national language of your choice.

When the ignition is switched on, the green
indicator lamp comes on for 3 seconds
indicating that the system is operating
correctly.

Pressing this button again immediately cancels the request.
The cancellation is conﬁ rmed by a voice message.

  Press this button for more than 2 seconds to request
assistance if the vehicle breaks down.
A voice message conﬁ rms that the call has been made * .

OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM

The green indicator lamp remains on (without ﬂ ashing) when

communication is established. It goes off at the end of communication.

This call is dealt with by the PEUGEOT Emergency team which receives
locating information from the vehicle and can send a detailed alert to the
appropriate emergency services. In countries in which the team is not
operational, or when the locating service has been expressly declined,

the call is dealt with directly by the emergency services (112) without the

vehicle location.

If an impact is detected by the airbag ECU, and independently
of the deployment of any airbags, an emergency call is made
automatically.

If the orange indicator lamp ﬂ ashes: there is

a system malfunction.
If the orange indicator lamp is on

continuously: the backup battery must be

replaced.

EMERGENCY CALL

In an emergency, press the SOS button until an audible

signal is heard and a "Conﬁ rmation/Cancellation"

screen is displayed (if valid SIM card inserted).
A call is made to the PEUGEOT Emergency team
which receives locating information from the vehicle
and can send a detailed alert to the relevant emergency
services.
In countries in which the team is not operational, or
when the locating service has been expressly declined,

the call is sent to the emergency services (112).

Warning - the emergency call and the services are only active

if the internal telephone is used with a valid SIM card. With a
Bluetooth telephone and without a SIM card, these services are not
operational.

Press this button for access to PEUGEOT services.

Customer call

If an impact is detected by the airbag control unit, and independently
of the deployment of any airbags, an emergency call is made
automatically.
The message "Deteriorated emergency call" associated with

ﬂ ashing of the orange indicator lamp indicates a malfunction.

The Peugeot Connect Media is protected in such a
way that it will only operate in your vehicle. If it is to be
installed in another vehicle, contact a PEUGEOT dealer

for conﬁ guration of the system.

Certain functions described in this handbook will

become available during the course of the year.

PEUGEOT CONNECT MEDIA

For safety reasons, it is imperative that the driver

carries out operations which require prolonged attention
while the vehicle is stationary.
When the engine is switched off and to prevent
discharging of the battery, the Peugeot Connect Media
switches off following the activation of the Energy

Economy mode.
