WCS-22 < COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS > SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT 4. CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (DRIVER SIDE) GROUND CIRCUIT Check harness continuity between front seat belt buckle switch (driver side) harness connector terminal 2 and Is the inspection result normal? YES >> INSPECTION END NO >> Repair harness or connector. 5. CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) CIRCUIT 1 1. Turn ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect combination meter connector and front seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) connector. 3. Check continuity between combination meter harness connector terminal 36 and front seat belt buckle 4. Check harness continuity between combination meter harness connector terminal 36 and ground. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 6. NO >> Repair harness or connector. 6. CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) CIRCUIT 2 1. Disconnect occupant detection unit connector. 2. Check continuity between front seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) harness connector terminal 2 and 3. Check harness continuity between front seat belt buckle switch (passenger side) harness connector termi- Is the inspection result normal? YES >> GO TO 7. NO >> Repair harness or connector. 7. CHECK SEAT BELT BUCKLE SWITCH (PASSENGER SIDE) GROUND CIRCUIT Check harness continuity between occupant detection unit harness connector terminal 2 and ground. Is the inspection result normal? YES >> INSPECTION END NO >> Repair harness or connector. 2 – Ground : Continuity should exist. 36 – 1 : Continuity should exist. 36 – Ground : Continuity should not exist. 2 – 1 : Continuity should exist. 2 – Ground : Continuity should not exist. 2 – Ground : Continuity should exist. |
