Installation

  CAUTION: Do not twist the H02S wiring harness on installation. Failure to follow this 

instruction may result in damage to the component. 

 

 

To install, reverse the removal procedure.  

  

 

Tighten to 40 Nm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor - 4.2L 
SC V8 - AJV8 (18.30.52)   

Removal  

 

1 . Remove the engine cover.  

 

 

 

2 . Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector. 

 

 

 

3 . Remove the IAT sensor.  

  

 

Remove and discard the IAT sensor sealing washer.

Installation  

 

1 . To install, reverse the removal procedure.  

  

 

Install a new IAT sensor sealing washer.

 

  

 

Tighten to 35 Nm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Knock Sensor (KS) LH (18.30.92)

Vehicles with supercharger  

 

1 . Remove the supercharger.

2 . Remove the noise isolator. 

 

Vehicles without supercharger  

 

3 . Remove the intake manifold.

4 . Remove the knock sensor (KS).  

 

 

 

Installation  

 

1 . To install, reverse the removal procedure. 

  

 

Tighten to 25 Nm.
