Пояснения к демонстрационному варианту экзаменационной работы

При ознакомлении с Демонстрационным вариантом 2011 года следует иметь в виду, что задания, включенные в демонстрационный вариант, не отражают всех вопросов содержания, которые будут проверяться с помощью вариантов КИМ в 2011 году . Полный перечень элементов содержания, которые могут контролироваться на экзамене 2011 года, приведен в кодификаторе, помещенном на сайте www.fipi.ru.

Назначение демонстрационного варианта заключается в том, чтобы дать возможность любому участнику экзамена и широкой общественности составить представление о структуре будущей экзаменационной работы, числе и форме заданий, а также их уровне сложности. Приведенные критерии оценки выполнения заданий с развернутым ответом, включенные в этот вариант, позволят составить представление о требованиях к полноте и правильности развернутого ответа.

Инструкция по выполнению работы

Экзаменационная работа по английскому языку состоит из двух частей (письменной и устной) и включает 25 заданий.

Сначала выполняется письменная часть. На её выполнение отводится 1,5 часа (90 мин). В этой части работы предлагается выполнить 23 задания, которые даны в следующей последовательности.

В разделе 1 (задания по аудированию) предполагается прослушивание нескольких текстов и выполнение 5 заданий на понимание услышанного. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение данного раздела – 20 минут.

Раздел 1 (задания по аудированию)

Вы услышите 5 высказываний. Установите соответствие между высказываниями каждого говорящего 1–5 и утверждениями, данными в списке A–F. Используйте каждое утверждение, обозначенное соответствующей буквой, только один раз. В задании есть одно лишнее утверждение. Вы услышите запись дважды. Занесите свои ответы в таблицу.

Рекомендуется выполнять задания в том порядке, в котором они даны.

Устная часть экзамена состоит из двух заданий: монологическое высказывание по заданной теме и диалог-расспрос (беседа в предлагаемой ситуации общения). Время устного ответа – 6 минут на одного учащегося.

3. Most Americans simply call the Independence Day the “Fourth of July”. It always falls on this day, and it celebrates the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. At that time, the people of the 13 British colonies were involved in a war which had begun in 1775. The colonists were fighting for freedom from the English. The Declaration of Independence stated it clearly. For the first time in history the colonies were defined as the United States of America.

The city is best known as the home of Cambridge University, one of the world's best universities. It was founded in 1209 and it consists of 30 colleges.

1. More than 80 percent of New Zealand’s population are Britons or Europeans. That's why the New Zealand school system is similar to the British one. Jessica: He actually wanted to do a summer job to earn some pocket money. And he also wanted to travel. And he needed to practice his French as he’s going to university in two years time. That’s why he went there.

Neil: And what kind of job did he do? He’s not qualified for anything yet, is he? Too young.

Jessica: That’s right. But he was lucky. His family have good friends in France. And the friends needed an au pair for a couple of months.

Neil: They needed what?

Jessica: Not what but who. They needed an au pair . Au pair is a French word for a baby sitter.

Neil: Ronny… doing babysitting! I can’t imagine that!

Most people enjoy travelling but I don’t share their passion. The best holiday for me would be a quiet day when I can watch some films. I hate trains and crowds in the railway stations; I’m afraid of travelling by air; and I feel seasick when going anywhere by boat. What’s the point in travelling, I ask?

I’ve always dreamt about travelling. However, travelling is not as thrilling an adventure nowadays as it used to be. Travellers of the past risked their lives every minute. Neil: I’m not surprised. Every kid would wish for a babysitter like Ronny. It was really fun for the boy, I bet.

Jessica: It was. And after 2 pm Ronny was on his own. He said he made several friends there. And they went to Paris together every weekend. Ronny is crazy about football, you know, and once they even managed to see the French national football team playing against the Italian national team at the Stade de France stadium outside Paris!

Neil: Wow! Now I see why he enjoyed his summer. I wouldn’t mind doing babysitting myself if it gave me a chance to see the coolest teams and matches.
