Пояснения к демонстрационному варианту экзаменационной работы

При ознакомлении с Демонстрационным вариантом 2009 года следует иметь в виду, что задания, включенные в демонстрационный вариант, не отражают всех вопросов содержания, которые будут проверяться с помощью вариантов КИМ в 2009 году . Полный перечень элементов содержания, которые могут контролироваться на экзамене 2009 года, приведен в кодификаторе, помещенном на сайте www.fipi.ru .

Назначение демонстрационного варианта заключается в том, чтобы дать возможность любому участнику экзамена и широкой общественности составить представление о структуре будущей экзаменационной работы, числе и форме заданий, а также их уровне сложности. Приведенные критерии оценки выполнения заданий с развернутым ответом, включенные в этот вариант, позволят составить представление о требованиях к полноте и правильности развернутого ответа.

Инструкция по выполнению работы

Экзаменационная работа по английскому языку состоит из двух частей (письменной и устной) и включает 25 заданий.

Сначала выполняется письменная часть. На её выполнение отводится 1,5 часа (90 мин). В этой части работы предлагается выполнить 23 задания, которые даны в следующей последовательности.

В разделе 1 (задания по аудированию) предполагается прослушивание нескольких текстов и выполнение 5 заданий на понимание услышанного. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение данного раздела – 20 минут.

Раздел 2 (задания по чтению) включает 5 заданий, которые позволят оценить понимание прочитанных текстов. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение заданий – 20 минут.

Раздел 3 (задания по грамматике и лексике) состоит из 12 заданий. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение раздела – 20 минут.

В разделе 4 (задание по письму) предусмотрено 1 задание, предлагающее написать личное письмо. Черновые пометки делаются непосредственно на листе с заданиями (они не оцениваются), полный вариант письменного ответа заносится в бланк ответов. Рекомендуемое время на выполнение – 30 минут

Рекомендуется выполнять задания в том порядке, в котором они даны.

Устная часть экзамена состоит из двух заданий: монологическое высказывание по заданной теме и диалог–расспрос (беседа в ситуациях повседневного общения). Время устного ответа 6–8 минут на одного учащегося.

По окончании выполнения заданий каждого раздела не забывайте переносить свои ответы в Бланк ответов.

Во время выполнения теста по аудированию перед каждым заданием дана пауза с тем, чтобы вы смогли просмотреть вопросы к заданию, а также паузы после первичного и повторного предъявления аудиотекста для внесения ответов. По окончании выполнения всего раздела «Аудирование» перенесите свои ответы в бланк ответов.

В1 Вы услышите 5 высказываний. Установите соответствие между высказываниями каждого говорящего 1–5 и утверждениями, данными в списке A–E. Используйте каждое утверждение, обозначенное соответствующей буквой, только один раз. В задании есть одно лишнее утверждение. Вы услышите каждую аудиозапись дважды. Занесите свои ответы в таблицу.

1. We are happy to welcome you in our campus. Please read this information carefully. It will help you to settle as quickly as possible and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We are proud to say that our school is one of the most famous and well–reputed board schools in Britain. In summer it turns into an international scientific centre. Children from different countries aged 14–16 live and study here for a month and a half. All our students come here after participating in Maths competitions in their own countries and in different international mathematical contests. We are proud to say that new Newtons and Einsteins are among us.

2. The school is located in a quiet historical village. The complex consists of several buildings. The central and the highest building in the campus is our administrative centre. Lecture halls, chemical lab, the library and the computer centre are all here too. To the right of the central building, there are students’ accommodations. All the rooms are nicely furnished, and there is a satellite TV in the students’ lounge. To the left of the central building there is a students’ café. Just behind it one can see an old building made of red brick. It used to be stables, but nowadays sports equipment like bicycles and boats are stored there.

3. All students have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the students’ café at 8.00, 13.00 and 18.00 correspondingly. Lectures start at 9.00 and last till 13.00. After lunch the students work in teams on their projects from 14.00 up to 16.00. After that they have a wide range of various activities to choose from: sports games on the sports ground, drama lessons, TV, music performances and so on. The day rounds off with disco or national dances. Students should be in their rooms by 11.00.

4. Most lectures are given by university teachers. Like students, they come from different countries and represent different universities but all the lectures are delivered in English. We are sure that you appreciate the diversity. The permanent staff of the school are always available in the administrative centre. They can advise you on any academic issues, recommend additional reading on the topics and answer your questions. If you have any questions, just come and ask.

5. Though it’s summer and holiday time, your lecture attendance is obligatory. You can miss a lecture only if you are ill and have a doctor’s permission to stay in your room. Our school doctor is available round the clock in the central office. If you feel unwell, don’t hesitate to see him.

The Maltese Islands are a group of little islands in the Mediterranean Sea. The population of Malta is about 400,000 people. In spite of being so small in size, Malta is quite a famous place and lots of tourists visit it every year.

Tourists in Malta have many kinds of entertainment to choose from. Clear and warm water is full of marine life and attracts divers and people who enjoy swimming and sailing. The place is also unique for people who are interested in history and architecture as there are lots of historical buildings, temples and cathedrals there. There’s the evidence that the first settlers appeared in Malta about 7,000 years ago, so this is one the oldest places on the Earth inhabited by people.

The Maltese are proud of their unique history. They survived through the Arabs and Roman occupation, and they remember the knights of Malta, Napoleon and Nelson. They do their best to keep their history and traditions and are always glad to share it with tourists. Band clubs are part of the social and cultural history of the Maltese Islands. They see their aim in spreading the culture and teaching of music. The idea of forming some music societies or band clubs appeared in the second part of the 19^th century. Small bands were formed in little villages. Anyone could join them. As most participants could not afford to buy a musical instrument of their own, well–to–do villagers helped to pay for the instruments on the condition that the musicians would perform at their village feasts. Today, according to the latest survey by the statistics office, the total number of bandsmen/women is over 4000. Many well–known musicians started their career in a local band club and performed at their village feasts.

Malta is a good place for people who like watching underwater life.

При заполнении бланка ответов №2 вы указываете сначала номер задания С1, а потом пишите свой ответ.

You have to talk for 1.5–2 minutes. The examiner will listen until you have finished. Then she/he will ask you some questions.

Task 2 (2–3 minutes)

You’ve come to a language school. You would like to take an English course. Your parents can pay ₤30 per week. You have time to study on weekdays in the afternoon.

Before making a decision ask the course administrator about

- the timetable and the starting day

- the price

- the entrance exam (if you have to take it or not)

You begin the conversation. The teacher will play the part of the course administrator.

Remember to:

- be active and polite

- ask the questions and find out all the information you need

- decide on the course you will take

Once I travelled from London to Oxford. It’s very convenient to get there by bus. The buses are quite comfortable and you can buy a ticket when you are right on the bus. You can buy it from a driver, it’s all right, but make sure, that you have the right coins or banknotes. It’s not polite to keep other passengers waiting while the driver is looking for your change.

Speaker 2.

Today we are going to see the most ancient part of the city. The historians say that some buildings there date back to the fifteenth century. The entrance to most museums, we are going to visit today, is free, but we’ll have to buy tickets to get into the Central Museum of Arts. I advise you to buy a group tour ticket as it will be cheaper per individual. We won’t have to take buses or any other transport as this is a walking tour. The meeting point is at the reception at 10 o’clock, right after your breakfast. Do not forget your cameras...

Speaker 3.

Welcome to our college! We hope you enjoy studying with us.

On the very first day in our college you’ll get a student’s card. The card contains the most essential information about you, such as your name, the name of the school, the course you are taking. This card is necessary if you want to borrow some books from the college library. And it also gives you discounts in the stationary shop, in the students’ café or if you use city buses. Tickets for students are cheaper than for other passengers, but you need to have your card with you. And certainly if you go somewhere by our school bus, the driver may ask you to show your student’s card.

Speaker 4.

The students of our school enjoy lots of privileges. They can get free access to city libraries, half-price bus and train tickets, discounted tickets to swimming pools, and, if necessary, they can get a doctor’s consultation and medicines absolutely free. We also provide our students with six free hours of internet access for free. It’s enough for educational purposes and they can write lots of e-mails home to stay in touch with their families. However, if they want to browse the internet for more than six hours a week or play net games too much, they’ll certainly have to pay more…

Speaker 5.

When you register for the exam, you need to fill in the form. Please write your first name and your last name in block letters. Your contact information should contain your address and your telephone number, so that we can contact you by phone. After that, you get your exam ticket – it’s a special card where you will find your personal number, the date and time of the exam, number of the room you need to go to, and the name of your examiner. Please, make sure that you come on time. We don’t accept any excuses like missed buses or traffic jams.
