Цель пособия
- подготовка экспертов единого государственного экзамена по

В результате изучения курса у слушателей формируются:

- навыки и умения проведения письменной части экзамена;
- умения работать с инструментами, определяющими процедуру проверки и оценивания
ответов выпускников на задания с развернутым ответом;
- умения оформлять бланк протокола проверки ответов на задания, в бланке 2, соблюдая
технические требования;
- умения применять технологии тестирования и основные структурные элементы
педагогического оценивания в области письма;
- навыки и умения анализа коммуникативных заданий, входящих в формат ЕГЭ;
- навыки и умения анализа и корректировки типичных ошибок экспертов в области
Письма;
- способности к самоанализу своей работы в качестве эксперта;
- рефлексия, открытость к педагогическим инновациям.
В качестве конечного результата достижения цели пособие предусматривает

First of all, they are very long and the plot is primitive. I’d better solve my own problems than
watch difficulties in other people’s life. Secondly, the acting in such kind of movies is awful.
The actors who play in soap operas do not deserve to be called actors, because very often they
are not able to act. Thirdly, soap operas are really useless, because they don’t give food for your
brain. There is nothing to think about and reflect on in the soap operas.
However, many people find soap operas enjoyable and realistic. They think that these
movies state universal problems. I can’t agree with such arguments, because in every soap opera
there is only one problem: someone is really ill or perished, and others cry over spilt milk. All
emotions are exaggerated in soap operas that’s why I can’t agree with the statement that they are
realistic.
To sum up, I am not one of those who enjoy soap operas. I suppose that there are far
pleasanter and useful ways of spending free time. I don’t mind of people watching soap operas,
but it is certainly not my choice.

I believe that watching endless series is a waste of time, because they don’t bring home to
us any useful information. Moreover, the actors who play their parts in soap operas don’t really
experience the emotions and feelings they show on the screen. Thus, they come out to be fake
and too unreal. In addition you can become addicted to watching soap operas and totaly abandon
your own life, which is much more interesting than on TV.
All things considered, although soap operas may be imaginative, exciting and enjoyable,
they can lead to people’s absolute ignorance of their own life. In my opinion, soap operas should
be limited in time or even forbidden, because of the harmful effect they produce on a person.

What’s more, some people watch soaps in order to compare them with their own life, which
seems absolutely impossible to me, because their aim is to produce an effective image, but not to
show our real life. In addition, they find soap operas rather relaxing and watch them to get away
from everyday routine, but they are not right, because there exist a lot of programmes, which are
more interesting, entertaining and educating than soaps.
To crown it all, I’m convinced that soap operas aren’t worth watching being uninteresting
and artificial.

People forget about their own life and live lifes that heros of soap operas want them to
live!
But still, taking all things into consideration I can not agree with those people who are
against soap operas. Every person must have a choice what programme to watch and what life to
live. So let us give society a chance to decide whether to watch soap operas or not!

distracting attantion at each other. It is like of the effect of magnetizing. Often they cannot work
together. They can look on each other for the whole lesson and only play prings.
Secondly, girls and boys have different tipes of brains, mental organization. If for example one
boy doesn`t want to work, his friends will copy him. As for girls, they always concentraited on
studying.
In the beginning, for the first 6-7 grades, boys only play toys, try to speak a lot with their friends,
they don`t feel that studying is important. And girls try to do all homework and always try to be
the first in class. However then, females reduce their speed, but boyss are taking first places,
begin to lead.
But of coarse living and studying in school, that includes both boys and girls broadens the mind.
Maybe the overwhelming majority of schools are made from both genders, but we should change
it. That will lead to a better future.

My home is a windmill
by Josh Summers, aged 14
My home’s different from where my friends live because I live in a19th century windmill! My parents
saw it one day, and bought it. It was in poor condition, but it was repaired and now it’s fantastic!
The windmill was once used to make flour from corn. The corn store used to be downstairs, where
our kitchen is now, and horses came there to deliver the corn. The enormous 20-metre sails are still
on the front, but they don’t turn in the wind like they used to because it’s too dangerous, so birds live
in them instead. There’s always a ladder up the side of the windmill so that dad can paint it and keep
it a nice cream colour. He also cleans the windows, although a company comes to do the top ones as
the ladder’s too short.
Inside it’s like a tent with six sides, and it becomes more pointed towards the top, so the rooms get
smaller. My room’s under the roof and I get a fantastic view - it’s like looking out of an airplane
window. There are some other houses around now, and a new main road, but I can relax and make a
noise when I play my guitar up there and no one can hear me! I can hear everything, though, like the
birds when it’s quiet, which is really calming, or the very loud storms, which I can see coming towards
us. And I actually find it easier to concentrate on my school work up there, as my brothers and sisters
don’t want to climb up all the stairs, so they don’t disturb me! I can’t imagine living anywhere else!

On 2 November 1982, the British public turned on their television sets for the arrival of the nation’s
fourth TV station, called Channel 4. They were greeted by the smiling face of local TV news presenter
Richard Whiteley, who welcomed them with the words: ‘As the countdown to a new channel ends, a
brand new countdown begins.’ And with this sentence, the words and numbers game show
‘Countdown’ was launched.
The rules of this new game show were as follows: two contestants faced each other over several
rounds of games with letters and with numbers. Finally, there was the Conundrum round, where
contestants had to work out the nine-letter anagram. At the end of the show, the contestant with the
highest score won and was invited back the next day to face a new challenger.
However, despite the simplicity of the rules, those who watched the early editions of the 30-minute
show, which was on five days a week, could hardly have imagined that it would last any longer than
the original seven weeks that had been planned for it. The first contestants and guests were not
exactly the most exciting people on television.
But luckily for ‘Countdown’, there were enough old people, university students and other people with
nothing much to do each afternoon to keep the show alive. When the show began, Carol Vorderman
won over fans with her amazing mathematical abilities. ’Countdown’ made a celebrity out of Carol,
and these days she’s a familiar face on British TV. Despite her fame, Carol still loyally turned up on
‘Countdown’ each day to turn over the letters and show the contestants how to solve the numbers
game until she retired in 2008.
Yes, that is correct - nearly 30 years since it began, ‘Countdown’ continues to keep its audience’s
brains working every afternoon. In fact, on 3 January 2006, it celebrated its 4,000th show. Other signs
of its success include the increase in the length of each programme to 45 minutes, the addition of a
show on Saturdays and the number of British celebrities who have made an appearance.

The History of BMX Biking
A. BMX biking began in the late 1960s in southern California. It’s based on the sport of motocross,
which dates back to 1924 and involves racing motorbikes across rough tracks. It started when children
began to copy motocross riders by racing their bikes on tracks which they built themselves. This new
form of bike racing was named bicycle motocross, or BMX.
B. In July 1971, a movie about motocross called ‘On Any Sunday’ came out. At the start of the film a
group of kids from California are shown riding their bicycles as if they were riding motorbikes. This
helped to make BMX biking more popular. Soon BMX races attracted hundreds of riders.
C. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the most famous BMX bike was the Schwinn Sting-Ray; this was

either the Sting-Ray or similar models. By the mid 1970s BMX design had improved a lot and there
were many new models to choose from. But the bikes all had the same sized wheels and usually only
one brake.
D. In 1977, the American Bicycle Association was formed to organize the competitions and to make
the rules. The sport was also becoming popular in other parts of the world, particularly in Europe. The
first BMX world championship was held in Indianapolis, USA, in 1978. Most of the 165 competitors
were teenagers, but there were also children competing in special races for the under 8s and under
12s. There were separate races for boys and girls. There weren’t many nationalities present at this
competition; apart from Americans there were only a few riders from Australia, Japan and Venezuela.
E. Since that time the number of races for adults has grown very quickly, but BMX racing didn’t
become a full Olympic sport until the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Maris Stromberg from Latvia
won the first ever Olympic men’s gold medal for BMX racing and Anne-Caroline Chausson from France
became the first women’s champion.
F. As the popularity of BMX grew, riders were constantly testing the limits of their bikes. BMX wasn’t
just about racing any more. Riders began to take their bikes to skateboard parks and started
performing tricks and jumps. This became known as ‘freestyle’ and riders soon began to practice this
as much as racing.

Max: Not much, Holly. To be honest, I haven’t thought about it at all.

Max: I don’t really know who to invite. My schoolfriends, of course, and Mark, Jack and
Sean.
Holly: And Tilly and her sister.
Max: Yes. And Alicia. I hope she’ll be there. But I’d prefer not to have a huge number of
guests.
Holly: Twenty?
Max: Not that many, if possible. It’s only a small flat, and I only really want my close
friends there anyway.
Holly: I can understand that.
Max: Even so, some of them won’t know each other. My friends from round here aren’t
the same kind of people as the ones from school. They like different things, really.

Holly: If I were you, I’d make my own CD. You’ve got some great music on your
computer, and you could put lots of different things on it.
Max: That’s true. Though not everyone will want to dance, or listen to music all the time.
Maybe I should put a DVD on in another room?
Holly: Not if it’s just any old movie. That would be like watching TV at home.
Max: No, I was thinking of getting a new film that most people haven’t seen yet.
Holly: That’s a good idea! There are sure to be some who’ll want to watch it.
Max: Right.
Holly: So the only thing left to decide, I think, is which day to have the party.
Max: It’s got to be a weekend, so not the Thursday. Saturday would be best, I think.
Holly: I agree the weekend’s best, but the problem is that lots of people will be away on
the Saturday. Perhaps you should have it on the Friday?
Max: I don’t know.
Holly: I don’t think Alicia can come on the Saturday.
Max: All right, then. I’ll have it the day before.
Holly: I thought you might.
Task 2
Teacher: Listen everybody. I’m going to give you some important information about our
trip to the capital on Friday.
Firstly, the coach is coming to pick us up from school and we leave at nine-fifteen. But
don’t wait outside the main gate, even if you see the coach waiting there. Come to the
classroom first because I need to take the register before we leave, to make sure
everyone’s her. OK?
Lunch is provided, so don’t bring your own food. You’ll each get a sandwich, either meat,
egg or cheese - you can choose - plus some chocolate and a piece of fruit. But you do
need to bring a drink. So don’t forget to tell your parents that.
When we get to the capital, the coach drops us at the sports stadium where there’s a big
coach park. From there we’ll walk to the Transport Museum, which is our first visit. After
that, it’s on to the Natural History Museum.
In the afternoon, we’re going to the national Concert Hall, but not to see a concert or
dancing because the event that’s on is actually not a musical show at all, it’s a fashion
show. When it’s finished, a famous clothes designer will tell us about her work.

At the concert hall, there’s a large souvenir shop where you can buy presents for your
families. Be careful though - the books and games are expensive, but the postcards are
very good value. You’ll have about fifteen minutes to look around.
Now, remember the coach will go at five-thirty. So we have to leave the shop at five
o’clock at the latest, to walk back to the coach park together. Tell your parents we’ll be
back at school here by seven-fifteen, OK?

Elvis Presley
Since Presley family moved often, Elvis had only two things that were
consistent in his childhood: his parents and music. Having problems at school,
Elvis continued to surround himself with music. He listened to the radio and
bought records, he often played with other ambitious musicians who lived in
the neighbourhood. To listen to a wider variety of music, Elvis crossed the
color line (segregation was still strongly in force in the South) and listened to
African-American artists, such as B.B. King, and watched black musicians
play.
By the time Elvis graduated from high school, he could sing in various styles,
from pop music to gospel. More importantly, Elvis also had a style of singing
and moving that was all his own. Elvis had taken all that he had seen and heard
and combined it into a unique new sound.
After high school working a day job, playing at small clubs at night, and
wondering if he would ever become a full-time musician, Elvis received a call
from Sun Records in 1954. They wanted Elvis to sing a particular new song.
After a month, Elvis recorded "That's All Right (Mama)." The song was so
well liked that it was played fourteen times in a row. Elvis was so successful
that Hayride show hired him to perform every Saturday for a year. It was then
that Elvis stopped his day job.
High school and college students went wild for Elvis and his music. They
screamed. They cheered, tearing at his clothes. For his part, Elvis put his soul
into every performance. Plus, he moved his body - a lot. This was so very
different than any other white performer. Adults thought he was vulgar;
teenagers loved him.

Pets are loved by everyone for many reasons; no matter what breed of animal
you own, they can bring happiness to lives. However, when you are thinking of
getting a pet for the first time, whether it's as a new addition to your current
family of pets or a replacement for one that sadly is no longer amongst you,
there is a lot to consider when keeping a pet.
People have pets for various reasons, whether given as a present or perhaps the
children are interested in having their first pet; or simply because you and they
share a love for animals, the idea to need and want a pet is deep-rooted in our
brain.
Pets can provide excellent social opportunities for both adults and children,
with the ability to improve your exercise routine. They also provide
opportunities to meet new people and begin new hobbies. In that respect, some
pets are easier to look after than others, and it depends on your circumstances,
such as type of accommodation and location you live in.
Although pets can bring lots of happiness to lives, it is not surprising to
discover how much responsibility they are to keep. If you are planning to go on
holiday and it is not possible to take your pet with you, it is a good idea to find
someone to look after your pet.
There are further factors to take into consideration when deciding to keep a pet.
They are expensive, particularly the expense of purchasing food, and the
accessories, including shelter and toys to keep them entertained.
Despite many pros and cons, the levels of enjoyment and companionship
afforded by pets are often worth every penny we spend on them. After all,
money can't buy you love and pets give it freely.

Basic education in China includes pre-school education, primary education and
regular secondary education.
Pre-school or kindergarten is an important part of education in China. In cities,
students can go there full time and part time. In some regions of the country
pre-school is supplemented with activity centers and game groups.
Primary and secondary education can take 12 years to complete. It is divided
into primary, junior secondary and senior secondary stages. The first nine years
of primary and secondary education are compulsory, which means that all
students must complete them. They consist of five to six years of primary
education, followed by three to four years of "junior secondary" education.
Classes run five days a week. Primary school classes go for 38 weeks. Students
study Chinese, mathematics, music, physical education, English or other
foreign languages.
Junior secondary schools go for
39 weeks. Students study Chinese,
mathematics, a foreign language, and some other subjects.
Students in senior secondary schools must take required courses but may also
choose "elective" classes that suit their own interests. They supplement their
classroom studies with out-of-class activities and practice projects.

Mariners use the compass to find directions on Earth. Such a compass is used
to calculate the latitude and the longitude as well. This famous Chinese
invention has seen many advanced changes along the way. Basically, a
compass is used to find the magnetic North Pole of the Earth. Generally, such a
compass has either a needle or a magnetic bar that points towards the direction
of the bar and such a needle or bar is placed either in floating liquid or upon a
pin. Today, the basic Chinese invention is modified and one can see many
more advanced versions being used by professions across the globe. One of the
earliest known mentions of the compass has been recorded in the ancient
Chinese literature. This was also seen in a book that goes back to 1040-44 AD.
