If the shoulder belt is placed under the
shoulder, you may be injured seriously.
When the collision accident happens,
your body will rush forward excessively,
which will increase the possibility of the
injury on the head and neck. Besides,
the safety belt will put excessive acting
force on the rib, while the rib is not
such firm as the skeleton of the shoul鄄
der. And your viscus, such as the liver
and spleen, may be injured.

Notes

The twisted safety belt may cause severe
injury. When the collision accident hap鄄
pens, the impact force can not be spread
to the whole width of the safety belt. If
there is twist of safety belt, the safety belt
should be placed flat and vertical, so it
can work normally. Or require Special
After -sale Service Center of Jianghuai
Automobile Co., Ltd. to repair.

Ask: Is there anything wrong?
Answer: Twist appears when the safety
belt strides the body.

If tighten the safety belt to the wrong
position as the figure shows, you may
be injured seriously. The hip will slide
above your abdomen in the collision
process. The acting force of the hip still
exists, but it does not act on your pelvis,
which may cause severe internal injury.
The safety belt must be tightened into
the lock catch nearest to your body.

Question: Is there anything wrong?
Answer: The tightening position of the
safety belt is wrong.

Answer: The shoulder belt strides under
the shoulder, the shoulder belt should
be worn above the shoulder all the time.

this section. The operating principle of
the safety belt of the right front passen鄄
ger seat is the same as that of the driv鄄
er safety belt.

The safety belt use of the rear seat pas鄄
senger

The rear seat passenger must fasten the
safety belt.
The accident statistics shows, the rear
seat passengers not wearing the safety
belt are much easier to be injured than
those wearing the safety belt.
In the traffic accidents, the rear seat
passengers not wearing the safety belt
may be thrown out of the vehicle. They
may also collide with the passengers
wearing the safety belt.

Height adjustment of the shoulder belt

Before you drive the vehicle, move the
adjuster of the shoulder belt to the prop鄄
er height. Adjust the height to have the
shoulder belt part be in the middle of
your shoulder. The shoulder belt should
be away from your face and neck but
can not slide under the shoulder.
Lower the shoulder belt, press down the

release button and move the height con鄄
troller to the expected position.
When the height controller is moved in
place, loosen the release button, and try
moving down the height controller in or鄄
der to check whether the height con鄄
troller has been locked in place.

Safety belt use during the gravidity pro鄄
cess

The safety belt is useful for all the peo鄄
ple, including the gravida. Like all the
passengers, if gravida does not wear
the safety belt, she is more likely to be
injured seriously.
During the whole gravidity process, the
gravida should wear the hip-type/shoul鄄
der-type safety belt, and the hip belt

safety belt move around your body, but the
safety belt can not be twisted. Insert the
hasp into the snap ring of the other end.
2. If you want to untie the safety belt,
press the red button on the snap ring.

Pre-tensioner of the safety belt
Your vehicle has been equipped with
the pre-tensioner of the safety belt used
for the driver and the right front seat
passenger. When moderate or severe
head -on collision accident happens to
the vehicle, the pre -tensioners of the
safety belt will reduce the forward im鄄
pulse of the body of the wearers.
The pre-tensioner can only work once.
If the pre -tensioner is activated in the
collision, then it must be replaced by a
new pre-tensioner. Moreover, it is likely
to replace the other parts of the safety
belt. Refer to "Change the Parts and
Components of the Protection System
after Collisions" in this section.

Protection device for the children

Children senior in age

If the children grow up to the extent that
they do not need children seat any
more, they should wear the safety belt
on the vehicle.

The safety belt use of the rear seat exter鄄
nal side passenger

1. Take the hasp to have the safety belt
move around your body, but the safety
belt can not be twisted.
2. Insert the hasp into the snap ring until
the click sound is heard.
3. Ensure that the release button is up鄄
ward or outward so as to untie the safety

belt when necessary. Pull the shoulder
belt upward and pull the hip belt tightly.
4. If you want to untie the safety belt,
press the snap ring, and then safety
belt will automatically draw back.

The safety belt use of the rear middle
seat passenger

The passengers sitting in the middle
seats should fasten the safety belt.
Pull the hasp along the safety belt if you
want to adjust the length of the safety belt.
1. Insert the hasp of the front end into the
snap ring at the right side of your body,
and take the middle hasp to have the

The acting force of the safety belt will be
put on the abdomen of the child, which
may cause severe casualty.
When the child rides the vehicle, the
position of the hip belt should get close
to and stick to the rump as possible as
it can, and just contact the thigh.
In such a case, the acting force of the
safety belt will be put on the pelvis of
the child when collision happens.

Question: If a child wears the hip-type/
shoulder -type safety belt for the adults,
while the safety belt is close to the face
and neck for the child is too small, how
to deal with it?
Answer: If the child sits in the seat close
to the window, move him/her to the
middle position of the vehicle. If the
child sits in middle of the passenger
seat, move him/her to the position close
to the lock catch of the safety belt. On
any occasion of the above, ensure that
the shoulder belt is still striding on the
shoulder of the child, so the upper half
body of the child can be fixed by the
safety belt when collision happens.

Do not use the safety belt like this.
As the figure shows, the child is sitting in
the seat with hip -type/shoulder -type
safety belt, but the shoulder belt lies at
the back of the child. Wearing the safety
belt like this, the child will slide under the
safety belt when collision happens.

As the figure shows, two children are
wearing the same safety belt, in such a
case, it can not scatter the impulse
correctly. When collision happens, the
two children will collide with each other
and get injured seriously. Thus, the
safety belt can only be used by a per鄄
son at one time.

Question: how to wear the safety belt
correctly?
Answer: If possible, the children senior
in age should wear hip-type/shoulder-
type safety belt so as to use the addi鄄
tional protection provided by the shoul鄄
der belt. The shoulder belt can not
cross over the face and neck. Hip belt
should stick closely to the rump and
contact the upper part of the thigh. The
hip belt can not be worn at the ab鄄
domen, otherwise, there will be severe
even fatal internal injury when collision
happens.
Accident statistics shows: The children
are much safer when fixed on the rear
seat.

When collision happens, the children
who are not fixed will collide with those
people wearing the safety belt or will be
thrown out of the vehicle. It is necessary
for the children senior in age to use the
safety belt correctly.
